Volunteering
Volunteers are always required to help our festival run efficiently, even if it’s for just a few hours. Duties range from helping to set up and take down the festival stillage, stewarding, cloakroom, entrance admission, membership, serving behind the bars, or assisting at the products stall. If you volunteer, then you’ll get some beer tokens in return for all the hours you help us
If you are a CAMRA member and wish to work at the festival then either complete the online form below or download the Volunteer Form either as an Excel document or PDF and return it to our Volunteering Manager, Lindsay Grant, email: arafvolunteers@gmail.com.
Notes:
If you do not fill out a staffing form and arrive at the festival wishing to work you WILL NOT be accepted to work. The festival organising committee also has the right to refuse your offer to work.
- Come allocation to the staffing rota, those who cross the “ANY” box on the form will only be allocated to MEMBERSHIP in an administrative capacity and will only be allocated to LEARN & DISCOVER if they also cross that box on the form.
- We may be able to provide transport home (subject to logistics) for staff who contract to work for a minimum of 5 hours in any 1 day, 3 of which must include 21.00 (20.00 Sat) to CLOSE. Select any dates that you require transport home.
- Please note the deadline date of Saturday 5th September for form submission. We will accept forms after that date but we would not be able to guarantee a polo shirt for you.
