Volunteering

Volunteers are always required to help our festival run efficiently, even if it’s for just a few hours. Duties range from helping to set up and take down the festival stillage, stewarding, cloakroom, entrance admission, serving behind the bars, or assisting at our new CAMRA Hub which combines token sales, membership, general information and products. If you volunteer, then you’ll get some beer tokens in return for all the hours you help us

If you are a CAMRA member and wish to work at the festival then either complete the online form below or download the Volunteer Form either as an Excel document or PDF and return it to our Volunteering Manager, Lindsay Grant, email: arafvolunteers@gmail.com.

Notes:
If you do not fill out a staffing form and arrive at the festival wishing to work you WILL NOT be accepted to work. The festival organising committee also has the right to refuse your offer to work.

1. Please note that the downloadable forms now have 2 pages
2. Come allocation to the staffing rota, those who cross the “ANY” box on the form will only be allocated to MEMBERSHIP in an administrative capacity and will only be allocated to LEARN & DISCOVER if they also cross that box on the form.
3. Those with health issues should describe these on page 2 of the downloadable forms.
4. We may be able to provide transport home (subject to logistics) for staff who contract to work for a minimum of 5 hours in any 1 day, 3 of which must include 21.00 (20.00 Sat) to CLOSE. Select any dates that you require transport home.
5. Please try to indicate your skills on page 2 of the downloadable forms.
6. Please note the deadline date of Saturday 6th September for form submission. We will accept forms after that date but we would not be able to guarantee a polo shirt for you.
