BEER OF THE FESTIVAL 2015: AYR – Betty and the Gardens

The 16th Ayrshire Real Ale Festival will be held from Thursday 1st- Saturday 3rd October 2015, as usual in Troon Concert Hall.

Following the success of our Champions’ Bar last year, we are pleased to announce that it will remain a feature this year, with the second bar featuring beers from islands around the UK – our Island Bar, hence our logo featuring Ailsa Craig and a lighthouse! A floorplan of the festival layout can be viewed here.

Our Tutored Tasting session on Friday afternoon at 5pm is now fully subscribed. Please check at the CAMRA products stall for any late availability, and to make your payment of £5.

Our twitter feed for the festival will remain the same – @troonbeerfest using the hashtag #troonbeer

This year we have a compiled a special survey to get your feedback on what you liked at the festival, or what we could have done better, along with some some general real ale questions. Everyone who completes a form before 16th October will be entered into a prize draw to win a copy of the Good Beer Guide (worth £15) as well as a trip for two folk to the Sulwath Brewery, Castle Douglas on Sat 31st October. Paper copies are available at the festival or you can fill the survey online here.
