Troon is situated on the south west coast of Scotland approximately 30 miles south of Glasgow. It can be reached easily by train or bus from all locations in the United Kingdom.

Trains are probably the most convenient method of transport to get to the festival. Trains from Ayr, Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow all stop at Troon (which is also just one 4-minute stop away from Glasgow Prestwick Airport). From Largs, travellers need to change at Kilwinning. Journey times are approx 40 minutes from Glasgow and 10/15 minutes from Ayr & Kilwinning.

Recommended last trains back to Kilwinning/Paisley/Glasgow depart Troon at 22:26 or 23:11. Last trains back to Prestwick/Ayr depart at 23:39 or 00:09 and last train to Kilmarnock is 22:39. All trains to Troon are operated by Scotrail. Please check their website to confirm timings.

Troon Concert Hall is only a 10 minute walk from the Station. From Troon Station, exit north and turn left on to St Meddan's Street. Walk down this street until the junction with Portland Church and South Beach. Turn right and the Concert Hall sits on your left at the junction with Academy Street.

If using local buses, Stagecoach is the main service provider. No. 14 goes through Troon from either Ayr or Irvine (last bus to Irvine leaves 22:34, last bus to Ayr leaves 23:19). Service 110 runs to Dundonald (last bus leaves Troon 23:28).
